Roka is the creation of Chef Raquel Iglesias and her business partner Mónica Contreras.
Raquel Iglesias is a talented chef and co-founder of R0ka, bringing a unique blend of creativity and expertise to the culinary scene. With a background in Integrated Marketing Communications, Culinary Arts, and Restaurant Management, she has cultivated a diverse skill set that enhances her culinary creations. Raquel is known for her innovative pop-up dining experiences, having established Catedral, which seamlessly combines theater and gastronomy, and Rama, one of the country's pioneering pop-up restaurants.
Her expertise extends to working with over 30 restaurants in tourist areas, ensuring quality and excellence in their offerings. Raquel has also showcased her food styling skills with Garage Films and DP Joe Films. Her culinary journey includes contributions to The Gate, located at El Salvador's airport, where she continues to share her passion for food and hospitality.
